Privacy Policy
Last updated July 4, 2026
Homestead Enterprises LLC ("VulcanTunes", "we", "us", or "our") operates this website and sells audio adapters for Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycles. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using this site or purchasing from us, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Order & contact details — your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number, provided when you check out, create an account, or contact us.
- Payment information — card and payment details are entered directly with our payment processors and are not stored on our servers. We retain only a record of the transaction (amount, status, and a processor reference) needed to fulfill and support your order.
- Order history — the products you buy, order totals, shipping method, and tracking.
- Support messages — anything you send us through a contact, question, or suggestion form, and messages you send to our on-site AI assistant.
- Automatically collected data — IP address, browser/device information, pages viewed, and cart contents, gathered through cookies and server logs to run the store and prevent abuse.
Cookies we use
- Session & cart cookies — keep your shopping cart and session working while you browse and check out.
- AI assistant cookie — a token that links your chat session to your conversation history and, if you buy, to your order (so we can measure whether the assistant was helpful). It is not used for advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but parts of the store (cart, checkout) may not work without them.
How we use your information
To process and ship your orders; to provide customer support and answer product questions; to send order, shipping, and account emails; to prevent fraud, spam, and abuse; to operate, secure, and improve the site; and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers we share data with
We share the minimum personal information necessary with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:
- Payment processing — our payment providers (which may include Stripe, PayPal, and Square) receive your payment and billing details to charge you securely.
- Shipping & labels — we send your shipping address and parcel details to our shipping/label provider (EasyShip) and to the carrier to deliver your order.
- Address validation — we may send your entered address to Google's address validation service to check and standardize it at checkout.
- Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) — our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots; Cloudflare processes limited technical data for this. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- AI assistant (x.ai) — when you chat with our on-site assistant, your messages are sent to x.ai (Grok) to generate a reply. Do not enter sensitive personal or payment information in the chat.
- Email delivery — we use an email service to send transactional emails, and our emails may include a small pixel that tells us whether an email was opened.
Data retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide support and warranties, and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Support and chat records are kept to improve our products and service. You may ask us to delete information we are not required to retain.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, transmit data over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and do not store full payment card numbers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights & choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Residents of the EU/UK, California, and other regions may have additional rights (including access, portability, and deletion). To exercise any right, email us and we will respond as required by law.
Children
Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
